Lauren has been performing in and around the Macarthur area since the age of 6. Trained at the Australian Institute of Music, majoring in Music Theatre, her most recent credits include lead roles Glinda (Wicked) and Scaramouche (We Will Rock You) with Woftam Productions. Lauren taught musical theatre and singing at Steps 2 Stardom Performing Arts Academy.
Lauren’s love of the performing arts and nurturing local talent has urged her to become involved in Camden Musical Society. Creating her first website at 15, and managing the very successful fansites for bands Short Stack and The Midnight Beast, she also designs advertising for various local businesses. Self taught in Photoshop, Lightroom and Photography, she has an online presence on Instagram and collaborates on content creation and advertising through her brand Next Stop, Everywhere. Lauren’s passion for social media and graphic design has seen her recently delve into the world of social media management as Lauren Waite Social. She is very excited to grow Camden Musical Society’s presence in the online world.
